- "Where do I purchase a 'Gi' (Karate suit)?
- All Students are to purchase a Gi from us. they are priced from £15.00 depending on what size is required.
- "Why does your club differ from others?
- By joining this club, which has a recognised structure, we are able to help you obtain your goal wether it be in sport, self-defence or achieving your Dan grade without any shortcuts.
- How often do students grade?
- Gradings are held periodically, Instructors reserve the rights to holdback any student who has not reached an acceptable level of achievment set forth in the Grading Syllabus.
- Are there Joining Fees?
- All students joining our club are required to apply for Membership which currently costs £20.00, included is your licence, insurance, and your only record of qualification.
- Can I pay monthly?
- Training Fees are set at £3.00 per session for Adults and Children alike. We do have a Monthly payment option which is considerably cheaper and is often prefered by students who's lessons are taken on a consistent daily basis. (standing order forms are available at the desk)
- I have a medical condition, can I still train?
- Yes, all our Instructors are trained to teach students in a vast area of physical disorders, however, If you have sustained an injury un-related to karate outside the Dojo, Instructors reserve the right too cancel your lessons if he/she feels you are unfit to train.
- What age to you have to be to start learning Karate?
- We prefer to take on students from the young age of 6, this can vary depending on the ability of the student to concentrate during the lesson. We have taught seniors in their 70's, but again that still depends on there phisical capabilties. Instructors can refuse an application if they feel that person is not suited.
- How do I join?
- Application forms can be obtained from the desk on your arrival at the Dojo.
